In my life

THE GREATEST JOY

Is being a mother and wife. Everything I do in life is for my boys! I have four boys. Eli, Joseph, Michael and Asher who is in heaven. My boys are all homeschooled which allows for us to have a flexible life. We enjoy traveling, exploring and Disneyland but we are also big homebodies! We love going to the movies, bowling and having game nights. My youngest son,Michael, has type one diabetes and that has taught me to give myself grace and patience as a medical mom and caregiver. It has given me a different outlook on life.

When I’m not busy with my boys or at a birth, some of my favorite things to do are read, crochet, spend time with my husband or do anything crafty. I feel like I am a very creative person and I’m always learning. Before getting into birth work and photography I went to school to be a teacher and thought that would be my dream job!

Why I became

A DOULA AND BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHER

I started with birth photography in 2015 after my middle son was born. I was struggling with postpartum depression and needed something for myself. Documenting motherhood and babies became my happy place. Being in the birth space really opened my eyes to how incredible and transformative birth is. In 2019 I became a doula. I wanted to support families and empower mothers.

In 2021 after losing my son Asher, I fully embraced remembrance photography and began bereavement support. Supporting families through loss and documenting babies born sleeping is something I hold very near and dear to my heart. As I continued through birth work, I realized I always wanted to do more. I started my journey as a birth assistant in 2023 and then began my student midwifery journey in 2025.
